From Concept to Collection: Womenswear Development at Seymatex

Every womenswear collection begins with an idea. At Seymatex Textile, we help fashion brands turn that idea into garments through private label development, fabric sourcing, sampling and bulk production.

Choosing the right material

Fabric and yarn choices shape a garment’s appearance, feel and fit. We source materials according to each brand’s designs and requirements, with a focus on cotton and options that support its sustainability goals.

Developing the sample

Pattern development and sampling bring the design to life. This stage allows us to review proportions, fit and finishing details with the client, and refine each style before production.

Moving into production

Once the sample is approved, we move into production. For woven and jersey garments, the process includes cutting, sewing, quality control, ironing and packing. Knitwear development also considers yarn, stitch structure and garment construction.
